I have been a registered ultrasound technologist in the medical field for over 28 years. I have had experience in hospitals, doctors offices, emergency departments, taking call, clinics, and applications. I have trained ultrasound technologist, residents, and physicians.
I believe that it is time to take Ultrasound to the next level. Creating a High Risk Ultrasound as a speciality, in addition to creating levels of ultrasound training, is my primary purpose.
My Story
I stared ultrasound school at the age of 23 when I started ultrasound school. I wanted to be an ultrasound technologist because I liked technology and I loved the part of collaborating with the physician's to create a plan for the patient. I knew that I loved women's health and at one time considered being a midwife. I am glad I chose ultrasound.
This career has seen me through all of the thick and thin parts of my life. It has been there through single parenting, world economic struggles, and pandemics. It has always been a constant for me and one I never had to wonder if I was going to have a job or not.
This occupation has helped shaped my values and beliefs, caused me to have more empathy for others and created an unbelievable love for growth and friends.
This occupation has given me more than I dared to dream. I know it will give the same to you!
